Healthcare, Conveniently Delivered Levana Telehealth is a virtual women’s health practice created to make thoughtful, individualized healthcare more accessible to women throughout the different seasons of their lives. Founded by licensed and certified midwife, author, educator, and researcher Alyssa Taylor, Levana Telehealth is rooted in nearly two decades of experience in women’s health. Alyssa’s work has spanned clinical midwifery, professional education, research, and writing, with a longstanding focus on female physiology, reproductive health, informed decision-making, and the experiences of women across the reproductive lifespan. Levana Telehealth grew from a simple understanding: women deserve healthcare that takes their concerns seriously, recognizes the complexity of female physiology, and gives them the time, information, and options they need to make informed decisions about their health. Through our physician telehealth partnership, Levana Telehealth provides convenient access to medical evaluation and prescription treatment when clinically appropriate, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), medical weight management, and select peptide therapies. Care is individualized, with treatment decisions based on each woman’s health history, symptoms, goals, and clinical needs. Our focus is women’s health across the lifespan, with particular attention to the hormonal and metabolic changes that can accompany the reproductive years, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. Levana Telehealth was created around the belief that women’s healthcare should be both evidence-informed and individualized. We recognize that women’s health is complex, that symptoms deserve to be taken seriously, and that good care begins with listening, thoughtful evaluation, and shared decision-making.
